I read somewhere that kidney disease is often called a silent condition because symptoms show up late. 😕 What early signs should we actually watch for at home?

    Kidney health tests

    Signs I have seen mentioned

    Sign Why it matters
Swollen ankles or feet 🦶 Fluid retention from reduced filtration
Changes in urination 🚻 Foamy or bloody urine can be a red flag
Persistent fatigue 😴 Anemia linked to declining kidney function
Puffiness around eyes 👀 Protein loss through urine

    What I am doing

    • Checking blood pressure regularly
    • Staying hydrated with plain water
    • Asking for basic kidney tests at yearly checkups

If anyone has caught problems early, what tests helped you most? 🙏
