My clinic blood pressure is always high (around 150/95), but at home I usually measure 125/80. My doctor mentioned “white coat hypertension” — has anyone dealt with this? 🤔

    Home blood pressure monitoring

How to measure correctly at home

    Step Detail
Rest 5 minutes Sit quietly before measuring
Correct position Back supported, feet flat, arm at heart level
Same time daily Morning and evening, 2 readings each
Validated cuff Upper-arm cuff, correct size
Record everything Show trends, not single numbers 📊

    Questions 💬

    • Did your doctor treat based on home or clinic readings?
    • Anyone diagnosed with masked hypertension (opposite problem)?
    • How did you lower clinic-visit anxiety?

Bringing my home log to my next appointment — hopefully it helps my doctor decide if medication is really needed. 🩺
