There is so much conflicting advice about water intake. 💧 Some say 8 glasses, others say drink only when thirsty. For kidney health specifically, what is the sensible target?

    Drinking water for kidneys

    General guidance

    Factor Rough intake
Average adult 🧍 1.5–2.5 liters per day
Hot climate / exercise 🏃 More to replace sweat losses
Kidney disease with restriction 🚫 Follow doctor advice, may be limited

    Questions 🤔

    • Is dark urine always a sign of dehydration?
    • Do caffeinated drinks count toward fluid intake?
    • How do you remember to drink enough on busy days?

Would love to hear how everyone manages hydration in daily life! 💦
