I have back pain and wonder if I need a scan. 💺 When is imaging actually helpful for back pain?

Simple acute back pain 🩹	Usually not needed
Red flags ⚠️	Weakness, numbness, weight loss
No improvement 📉	After conservative care
History of cancer 🧬	Discuss with doctor
